- Overseeing the work of indexers, typesetters and designers, freelancers and the typesetting and designing layout
- Ensuring that publications are prepared on budget and to schedule
- Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks

For Trainee Editors:
The Editorial will provide experience with a variety of editorial projects including checking revised page proofs, editing indexes, proofreading jacket copy, reviewing prepress proofs, and handling corrections for reprints. The intern will also learn some support functions and miscellaneous office duties such as photocopying and filing will be required. Essential Requirements:

Terms
The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year on a consolidated salary. Promising candidates may be absorbed as regular employees even before the end of their probation.
On successful completion of the probation, they will be confirmed as regular employees of the company.
During the probation, they will be trained in editing and publishing with scope for hands-on experience.
